R.I.P Cocoa  We Miss You So Much!!!

Vom Willow Haus is owned and operated by Elizabeth Painting.  I am located in Central Virginia on 5 acres in Louisa County.  I am not a kennel or a facility, just a hobby breeder producing 2-3  litters a year.  I have in the past bred West German Show lines & Czech lines, and just recently I have brought in some East German (DDR) & WGR lines, and I am very excited about these lines, their temperaments are absolutely awesome.  So now of course we will have Black & Reds, Black Sables, & Solid Blacks!  My main goal is to provide all of our clients with happy and healthy puppies of sound mind.  I breed for Quality not Quantity.

At Vom Willow Haus I breed for Quality, Sound Temperament, Loyalty, and Natural ability to Protect.  All of my dogs and puppies are family raised and well socialized.  I strive to breed Top Quality German Shepherds to suit every individuals needs.  All of my dogs are raised with our children and all puppies are exposed to children and people of all ages.  Although most of our puppies are sold to companion homes, I have no doubt that any of our pups would make great SAR, Working, and Show dogs.  I will do my best to help you find the right new addition to your family.  My dogs pedigrees consist of Top European bloodlines which includes East/West German & Czech lines.  My dogs produce rich colors, great temperaments, and very loyal offspring.

I have been raising & breeding German Shepherds since 1993, I purchased my first German Shepherd in 1989 what a wonderful dog, (AMJO's Sebastian von Lucas) he was absolutely the best dog I ever owned.  He was 1/2 german and 1/2 american, he was also Cody's sire (pictured above).  They are the most loyal, compassionate dogs I have ever been around.  They are so intune with their owners.  I was sold on the breed from that point on.  I was raised around German Shepherds as a kid, and I have an undying love for the breed.  I am not a facility, I produce about 2 or 3 litters a year of happy healthy puppies.  Our dogs have outdoor kennels that they stay in, and when the cold weather hits they all have crates either in our house or in their building.  German Shepherds should never be chained up and/or forgotten about, these dogs come from very high driven ancestors and are very family oriented and should be with their family as much as possible and should be exercised on a daily basis.
